BSA Gold Star 650 Launched in India at Rs 2.99 Lakh
BSA Motorcycles has made a triumphant return to India with the launch of the Gold Star 650. Priced competitively at Rs 2.99 lakh (ex-showroom), the modern-classic motorcycle is set to rival the likes of the Royal Enfield Interceptor 650.
Available in five distinct colourways, the Gold Star boasts a timeless design characterized by a round headlight, curved fenders, and generous chrome accents. A semi-digital instrument cluster and convenient charging options complement its classic appeal.
Powering the Gold Star is a 652cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine that delivers 45bhp and 55Nm of torque. This unit is paired with a five-speed gearbox. The motorcycle is built on a cradle frame and employs a telescopic fork up front and twin shock absorbers at the rear. Braking duties are handled by disc brakes at both ends, with dual-channel ABS ensuring rider safety.
