Hyundai Venue S+ Sunroof Variant Launched at Rs 9.35 Lakh

The Hyundai Venue subcompact SUV lineup has received a new S+ variant with a sunroof, priced at Rs 9.35 lakh (ex-showroom). It’s the most affordable variant of the SUV to offer a sunroof. The new Venue S+ variant comes a few weeks after the introduction of the Venue S (O) sunroof variant. With its new S+ variant, Hyundai’s sub-4 metre SUV directly targets the entry-level variants of the Mahindra XUV300 and Tata Nexon.

Under the hood, the new Venue S+ variant features the same 82bhp, 1.2L naturally aspirated petrol engine paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox. Compared to the Mahindra XUV300 MX2 Pro, which comes with a 1.2L turbo petrol engine and costs Rs 8.99 lakh, the Venue’s new variant is slightly more expensive. However, it’s more affordable than the Tata Nexon Smart Plus S, which is currently available at Rs 9.40 lakh. All mentioned prices are ex-showroom.

In terms of features, the new Hyundai Venue S+ (with sunroof) offers an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity, a digital instrument cluster, rear AC vents, automatic headlamps, hill start assist, electronic stability control, and a tyre pressure monitoring system.

In other updates, the Hyundai Venue will enter its next generation in 2025. The subcompact SUV is expected to come with noticeable cosmetic changes and feature upgrades. The all-new Venue will be the first model produced at Hyundai’s new Talegaon facility, which was acquired from GM (General Motors) last year. Codenamed QU2i, the new model might share some of its design elements with the Creta and the upcoming Alcazar facelift. The carmaker has also planned the new-generation Hyundai Grand i10 Nios hatchback for 2027.
