Hero MotoCorp is all set to launch the updated Destini 125 scooter on 7th September 2024. Prior to its market arrival, the company has released teasers confirming significant design changes over the existing model. In fact, leaked patents have also shown multiple updates. The engine setup, however, will remain intact.

Similar to the current version, the new 2024 Hero Destini 125 will come with a 124.6cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine. This motor produces a peak power of 9.1bhp at 7,000rpm and 10.4Nm of torque at 5,500rpm. The scooter will continue to feature an underbone frame with conventional telescopic fork and monoshock suspension. Compared to its arch rivals, the Honda Activa and TVS Jupiter 125, the Destini is heavier, with a weight ranging between 114kg and 115kg.

Talking about the design, the new Destini 125 will sport an entirely new front fascia. It will feature a redesigned LED headlamp assembly with a new H-shaped LED DRL. The scooter will also get newly-designed LED position lamps that double as turn indicators and golden trims.

Design elements such as all-black front forks, new body panels, dual-tone side mirrors, newly-designed alloy wheels, all-new rear LED taillamps, and a revised exhaust cover plate will further enhance its new look. The updated Destini 125 will also have a new seat design and a backrest for the pillion. The new 2024 Hero Destini 125 is likely to receive turn-by-turn navigation and a fully digital instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity.

Considering the design and feature upgrades, the new Destini 125 is expected to receive a minor price hike. At present, its LX and XTEC variants are available at Rs 80,048 and Rs 86,538, respectively. All mentioned prices are ex-showroom.
