Tata Curvv Prices Start at Rs 10 Lakh

The Tata Curvv, with petrol and diesel powertrains, has finally gone on sale in India. The coupe SUV is available in eight trim levels: Smart, Pure+, Pure+ S, Creative, Creative S, Creative+ S, Accomplished S and Accomplished+ A. Prices for the petrol variants start at Rs 10 lakh and go up to Rs 17.5 lakh. The diesel variants, on the other hand, are offered within the price range of Rs 11.5 lakh to Rs 17.7 lakh. All mentioned prices are introductory, ex-showroom. These prices will be applicable only for the bookings made till 31st October, 2024.
One must note that variant-wise prices of the Curvv automatic are yet to be revealed. Though, the carmaker has confirmed that the base petrol-DCT combo priced at Rs 12.5 lakh and the base diesel-DCT variant costs Rs 14 lakh. The 125bhp turbo-petrol with DCT gearbox is available at Rs 16.4 lakh. In terms of pricing and positioning, the Curvv directly competes with the Citroen Basalt and midsize SUVs including the Hyundai Creta, Maruti Grand Vitara, and Kia Seltos.

Buyers have the option of two petrol engines and one diesel engine with the new Curvv. The brand’s new 1.2L TGDi turbo petrol engine makes its debut with this coupe SUV. The engine delivers a claimed power of 125PS and 225Nm of torque. The 1.2L turbo petrol engine produces a peak power of 120PS and 170Nm of torque. The 1.5L diesel engine offers a power output of 118PS and 260Nm of torque. All three engines are available with two gearbox choices: a 6-speed manual and a 7-speed DCT automatic.
The interior of the Tata Curvv ICE is similar to its electric counterpart. Features such as a 9-speaker JBL sound system, a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, ventilated front seats, voice-assisted panoramic sunroof with mood lighting, air purifier with AQI display, two-step recline function for second-row seats, auto-dimming IRVM, smart digital lights with charging indicator and welcome/goodbye function, and an acoustic vehicle alert system are reserved for the top-end Accomplished S trim. The Accomplished+ A trim adds three additional features: Level 2 ADAS, SOS calling function, and a powered tailgate with gesture control.
The coupe SUV also offers a 360-degree camera with a blind spot monitor, wireless phone charger, leatherette upholstery, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity, front parking sensors, tyre pressure monitoring system, cruise control, EPB with auto hold function, six airbags, and more.
