Hyundai Motor India is all set to announce the prices of the updated Alcazar three-row SUV on 9th September 2024. Ahead of its market arrival, the company has released multiple images and videos revealing its key design changes and feature upgrades. Recently, details about its safety features were unveiled, with the major upgrade being the introduction of Level 2 ADAS technology.

The ADAS suite will offer features such as lane keep assist, forward collision warning and avoidance assist, surround view monitor, driver attention warning, blind spot view monitor, adaptive cruise control, and more. The standard safety kit of the new Alcazar includes six airbags, a tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS), electronic stability program, auto-dimming IRVM, traction control, hill start assist, all four disc brakes, and rain-sensing wipers.

In addition to improved safety, the new 2024 Hyundai Alcazar facelift will feature a dual-screen setup, each measuring 10.25 inches—one for infotainment and one for instrumentation. The SUV will also have a touch-sensitive climate control panel, an 8-speaker Bose audio system, a panoramic sunroof, dual-zone AC, ventilated front and middle-row seats, connected car tech, a wireless charger for the middle seat, a magnetic pad, and many other features. No changes will be made under the hood. The new 2024 Hyundai Alcazar will continue with the existing 1.5L turbo petrol and diesel engine options. The gasoline unit delivers 160 bhp, while the diesel engine produces a maximum power of 115 bhp. The transmission options will also remain the same: a 6-speed manual (standard), a 6-speed torque converter automatic (diesel only), and a 7-speed DCT (petrol only).

Considering the feature and design upgrades, the new Alcazar is likely to receive a minor price hike. The SUV’s pre-facelift model is currently priced from Rs 16.77 lakh to Rs 21.28 lakh (all prices ex-showroom).
