The new 2024 Hyundai Alcazar facelift has finally been launched in India at a starting price of Rs 14.99 lakh. The SUV’s updated model lineup comes with two seating configurations (6-seats/7-seats) and petrol and diesel engines. Prices for the petrol variants start from Rs 14.99 lakh and the diesel variants costs from Rs 15.99 lakh onwards. All mentioned prices are ex-showroom, India.

The new Alcazar facelift is being offered in nine colour options, namely, Titan Grey Matte, Robust Emerald Matte, Robust Emerald Pearl, Ranger Khaki, Atlas White, Abyss Black, Fiery Red and Starry Night. The dual-tone model gets the Atlas White with Abyss Black roof.
A few cosmetic changes have been made to the new Alcazar. Up front, it features Creta-inspired LED DRLs with a new ‘H’ element connected by a light bar and a grille with horizontal slats, appearing slightly larger than the Creta’s. However, the headlamp clusters remain unchanged. The SUV also comes with newly designed 18-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels along with the function roof rails. Major changes have been made inside the cabin. The new Hyundai Alcazar facelift features a dual-screen setup – a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system and a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster. The new dual-tone tan and black interior theme gives it a refreshing look. The SUV also comes with dual-zone climate control and cooled rear seats, while retaining the voice-controlled panoramic sunroof and ventilated front seats. However, the major highlight is the addition of the ADAS suite.
Features such an 8-speaker Bose audio system, a panoramic sunroof, ventilated front and middle-row seats,a touch-sensitive climate control panel, dual-zone AC, connected car tech, a wireless charger for the middle seat, a magnetic pad, etc. are also on offer. All variants of the new Alcazar come with the six airbags, electronic stability program, a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), auto-dimming IRVM, traction control, all four disc brakes, hill start assist, and rain-sensing wipers.
The fixed center console, which was positioned between the captain seats, has been removed. This setup creates more space between the seats, which now feature individual armrests and allow for easier movement from the middle row to the third row of seats.
The new Hyundai Alcazar facelift continues to be powered by the 1.5L turbo petrol and 1.5L diesel engines, delivering 160bhp with 253Nm and 116bhp with 250Nm, respectively. While the petrol unit can be paired with either a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed DCT automatic gearbox, the diesel engine comes with a 6-speed manual and 6-speed automatic transmission options. Both powertrains are available with a front-wheel-drive (FWD) setup.
