Maruti Swift CNG Launched at Rs 8.20 Lakh – Mileage 32.85km/kg

Maruti Swift CNG prices have finally been announced. The hatchback with a factory-fitted CNG kit is being offered in three trims: VXi, VXi (O), and ZXi, priced from Rs 8.20 lakh onwards (ex-showroom). The carmaker claims that the Swift CNG is 6 percent more fuel-efficient than its previous CNG version. The model comes with a 1.2L, 3-cylinder Z12E petrol engine paired with a CNG kit, delivering a claimed mileage of 32.85km/kg. The hatchback’s ICE-powered version offers a claimed fuel efficiency of 24.8kmpl and 25.75kmpl, making it one of the most fuel-efficient cars in its segment. No other changes have been made to the Maruti Swift CNG. Similar to its ICE counterpart, the VXi CNG variant offers power-adjustable wing mirrors, body-colored wing mirrors and door handles, 14-inch wheels with covers, a height-adjustable driver seat, a rear parcel tray, a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, 4 speakers, steering-mounted controls, and a day/night IRVM.
With the VXi (O), you get four additional features: push-button start, keyless entry, connected car tech, and power-folding wing mirrors. The ZXi offers LED projector headlamps, LED DRLs, 15-inch alloy wheels, a rear washer/wiper, auto climate control with rear AC vents, a wireless phone charger, a 60:40 split folding rear seat, standard USB and USB Type-C charging ports, and two tweeters.
The next big launch from Maruti Suzuki will be the new-generation Dzire compact sedan. Its official launch date is yet to be revealed, though the model is likely to go on sale next month. The 2024 Maruti Dzire will come with a significantly improved design, an upmarket interior, and the new Z-Series petrol engine. Most of its feature upgrades will be similar to those of the Swift hatchback. The carmaker is likely to introduce the sedan’s CNG version at a later stage.
