TVS launches new Apache RR 310 with Winglets

TVS Motor Company has unveiled the all-new TVS Apache RR 310, a significant update to its flagship sport motorcycle. This refreshed model introduces new segment-leading technologies, enhanced performance, and a variety of customization options.

Inspired by TVS Racing’s achievements at the Asia Road Racing Championship (ARRC), the latest Apache RR 310 features a performance boost with 38 PS of power from its reverse-inclined DOHC engine. Key technological upgrades include a bi-directional quickshifter, a first-in-segment Cruise Control, and a suite of electronic aids such as Race Tuned Dynamic Stability Control (RT-DSC), Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), and aerodynamic winglets designed to enhance stability at high speeds.

Key Features and Performance

The new Apache RR 310 offers riders a choice of two variants, with three customization options available through TVS’s Built To Order (BTO) platform. Designed for performance, the motorcycle incorporates four riding modes: Track, Sport, Urban, and Rain, to adapt to various conditions. The engine enhancements, including a revised air intake system and lightweight aluminum forged piston, improved volumetric efficiency and overall power delivery. The quickshifter ensures smoother gear changes, especially during aggressive riding.

The motorcycle’s aerodynamic winglets generate 3 kg of downforce, improving stability during high-speed maneuvers. In addition, the RT-DSC system offers advanced safety features like Cornering ABS, Traction Control, Wheelie Control, and Slope Dependent Control. The 6D IMU (Inertial Measurement Unit) adds a unique cornering cruise control function, which adjusts speed based on lean angle.

Customization and Pricing

The BTO platform allows riders to personalize their Apache RR 310 with options like the Dynamic and Dynamic Pro kits. The Dynamic Kit, priced at Rs 18,000, includes adjustable suspension, a brass-coated drive chain, and TPMS, while the Dynamic Pro Kit focuses on enhanced stability and safety, available for Rs 16,000. Riders can also opt for the Race Replica color scheme for an additional Rs 7,000.

In terms of pricing, the base Red variant without the quickshifter is priced at Rs 2,75,000 (ex-showroom), while the Red variant with the quickshifter is priced at Rs 2,92,000. The Bomber Grey variant, featuring a new livery, is available for Rs 2,97,000.
