Royal Enfield has announced the introduction of wire-spoked tubeless wheels for its popular adventure tourer, the Himalayan 450. This upgrade is set to redefine the riding experience for adventure motorcyclists, enhancing the bike’s versatility and dependability across varied terrains.
The new wire-spoked tubeless wheels are available to new buyers via the ‘Make it Yours’ (MiY) program and as Genuine Motorcycle Accessories (GMA) for existing Himalayan 450 owners. This addition marks a significant upgrade, offering enhanced performance and a more robust riding experience for those seeking off-road adventures without the hassle of traditional tube-type wheels.
Enhanced Capabilities for Adventure Riders
The introduction of tubeless wheels aims to elevate the Himalayan 450’s status as a top choice in the adventure touring segment. Tubeless wheels offer significant advantages, including easier puncture repairs and improved safety, making them an ideal fit for riders exploring diverse terrains. The wheels will be available at Royal Enfield dealerships starting October 3, 2024, for existing owners at a price of INR 12,424.
For new customers, the Himalayan 450 equipped with these wheels starts at INR 2,96,000 (ex-showroom Chennai) for the base model, with prices varying based on different color options and variants.
