The Nissan Magnite facelift has arrived, bringing with it a host of updates and improvements that distinguish it from the previous-generation model. This compact SUV continues to impress with its stylish design and advanced features, but the latest iteration enhances both aesthetics and performance. However, the Japanese carmaker has refreshed the lineup and introduced new trim levels. The facelifted model is offered in six trims: Visia, Visia+, Acenta, N-Connecta, Tekna, and Tekna+. The prices for the manual Magnite facelift range from Rs 5.99 lakh to Rs 9.10 lakh, while the 1.0-litre AMT variants are priced between Rs 6.60 lakh and Rs 9.60 lakh. For the 1.0-litre turbo-petrol manual models, prices range from Rs 9.19 lakh to Rs 10.35 lakh, and the turbo-petrol CVT versions are priced between Rs 9.79 lakh and Rs 11.50 lakh. All mentioned prices are ex-showroom figures. Nissan Magnite Facelift vs Old Model Spec Comparison: Design Updates Given that it mostly mimics the design of its predecessor, the alterations made to the 2024 Nissan Magnite may appear minor at first. Its front bumper has been changed, and it now has a bigger grille with more noticeable chrome accents. The fog lights have been moved somewhat towards the middle. Aside from the newly designed 16-inch alloy wheels, the facelifted model looks a lot like the previous iteration. Silver-finished roof rails, blacked-out outside rearview mirrors (OVRMs), chrome door handles, and silver door cladding are shared by both versions. The ‘Magnite’ badge is still located in the same spot on the upper fender.  While both models have a similar rear-end appearance, the new-gen Magnite showcases updated taillights with new LED components connected by a chrome strip, setting it apart from the earlier version. The rest of the rear design includes a black bumper along with a silver skid plate. Nissan Magnite Facelift vs Old Model Spec Comparison: Interior and Feature Set In contrast to the blacked-out interior of the previous model, the 2024 Magnite features a dual-tone orange and black cabin theme. However, the dashboard layout remains the same in both versions. For the 2024 model, the automaker has incorporated leatherette materials throughout, including the steering wheel, gear lever, dashboard components, doors, and the tip of the parking brake lever. Besides this, the Magnite facelift offers black leatherette seat upholstery with orange stitching, whereas the previous version had semi-leatherette seat upholstery. The latest Magnite introduces several new features that the outgoing model lacked, particularly in terms of safety, as it now includes six airbags as standard compared to two front airbags before. Other new features come in the form of a plasma cluster ioniser, a frameless auto-dimming rear-view mirror, a cooled glove box, multi-colour ambient lighting, and Type-C USB charging ports in the rear. In terms of mechanical setup, the Magnite facelift continues to house the 1.0-litre three-cylinder engine in both naturally aspirated (NA) and turbocharged configurations. The NA unit develops 71bhp and 96Nm of torque, while the turbocharged variant delivers 99bhp of peak power and 160Nm of maximum torque. Transmission choices include a five-speed manual, an automatic manual transmission for the naturally aspirated engine, and a CVT automatic for the turbocharged model. In the Indian market, the Magnite facelift takes on the likes of the Mahindra XUV 3XO, Renault Kiger, Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Hyundai Venue, and the Tata Nexon.
