5 Soon-Launching New 7-Seater Cars In India – Kia To Jeep

The 7-seater ICE car segment is set to see a wave of new entries from Maruti Suzuki, Kia, Toyota, MG and Jeep in 2025 in India
A number of car manufacturers including Maruti Suzuki, Toyota, Kia, Jeep and MG are all set to roll out new seven-seater ICE vehicles in India within the next 12 months. These launches are aimed at addressing the increasing demand for roomy, family-friendly cars, giving buyers a broad selection of options to choose from. Here is an early preview of all of them:
1. MG Gloster Facelift:
The upcoming MG Gloster facelift is expected to launch in the next few months, bringing subtle exterior design tweaks and interior upgrades to enhance its overall appeal. While these cosmetic changes will give the SUV a refreshed look, the existing engine and powertrain options are likely to remain unchanged.
2. Jeep Meridian Facelift:
The Jeep Meridian’s facelift will soon debut in India, with bookings already open, and for the first time, it will offer a five-seater variant. Significant changes include Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), enhancing its tech features.

Exterior revisions are a refreshed grille, new alloy wheels and updated front and rear bumpers for a sleeker appearance. The interior will also see improvements with upgraded materials and equipment.
3&4. 7-Seater Grand Vitara & Toyota Hyryder:

The three-row versions of the Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara and Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder are scheduled to arrive in showrooms in H1 2025. These models will benefit from updates both inside and out with the addition of a third row of seats aimed at appealing to a wider customer base. Expect more premium features to be included in these offerings.

5. Kia Carens Facelift:

The Kia Carens is set for a mid-2025 update, featuring both exterior and interior enhancements while retaining the current powertrain and gearbox options. Additionally, an electric version of the Carens is in development, expanding the model’s lineup for the future. The brand also appears to be working on an electric variant of the Sonet.
