Akshay Kumar’s OTT Comedy to Stream on Netflix
Akshay Kumar’s film “Khel Khel Mein” didn’t perform as expected at the box office. Released on August 15, it faced stiff competition from two major releases, “Stree 2” and “Veda.” However, the filmmakers are hopeful that the movie will find success on OTT platforms. Soon, viewers will be able to watch this dark comedy on Netflix.
Box Office Struggles
“Khel Khel Mein,” released on Independence Day, starred Akshay Kumar, Fardeen Khan, Taapsee Pannu, Vaani Kapoor, Pragya Jaiswal, Ammy Virk, and Aditya Seal in key roles. Despite the impressive cast and high expectations, the film couldn’t attract much of an audience due to the simultaneous release of other big movies. Director Mudassar Aziz had placed high hopes on this film, but its lackluster performance left both him and the cast disappointed. The movie struggled to recover its budget at the box office.
