Bajaj Rolls Out Freedom 125 in 78 Towns Across India on Independence Day
Bajaj Auto Ltd. has announced the nationwide rollout of its latest motorcycle, the Freedom 125, in conjunction with India’s 78th Independence Day. This launch introduces the world’s first CNG-integrated motorcycle to 78 towns across India, with further nationwide availability planned in the coming weeks.
The Freedom 125 was initially launched on July 5th, 2024, and has since received significant interest, both in India and internationally. The first unit of the motorcycle was delivered to Pune on July 16th, shortly after its official launch. The strong response, with over 60,000 inquiries, has led Bajaj to expedite its plans for a wider release.
Expansion to Key Regions
The motorcycle has now been introduced in key regions, including Maharashtra, Gujarat, Kerala, Delhi NCR, and Karnataka. This rapid expansion aligns with the demand and interest generated by this new model.
Features and Cost Efficiency
The Bajaj Freedom 125 is designed to offer up to 50% lower operating costs compared to similar petrol motorcycles, owing to its dual-fuel capability. It features an integrated CNG tank within a trellis frame, providing a range of over 200 km on 2 kg of CNG. Additionally, the motorcycle is equipped with a 2-litre auxiliary petrol tank, extending its total range to 330 km.
The Freedom 125 is built with a focus on safety and convenience, including mono-linked suspensions, a long-quilted seat, LED headlamps, digital speedometers, and Bluetooth connectivity. The CNG tank and kit are securely housed and have undergone testing to ensure safety.

The Bajaj Freedom 125 is available in three variants, with prices starting from ₹95,000 (Ex-Showroom Delhi). As the world’s first CNG-integrated motorcycle, it represents a significant step forward in sustainable and cost-effective transportation.
