Citroen Aircross SUV Launched at Rs 8.49 Lakh in India, Drops the ‘C3’ in its Name
Citroen India has revealed the pricing for the revamped C3 Aircross, its inaugural compact SUV in the country, just in time for the festive season. Notably, the vehicle has shed the “C3” moniker, signaling a distinct positioning within the French automaker’s India portfolio. The brand has set a starting price of Rs 8.49 lakh (ex-showroom) for the entry-level variant, positioning it as a competitor to the Hyundai Creta and Kia Seltos. This introductory price will be available for a limited period. Bookings for the SUV commenced today, with deliveries scheduled to begin on October 8. The C3 Aircross arrived in India last year with an ex-showroom price tag of Rs 9.99 lakh. It is the first compact SUV in India to provide both five-seater and seven-seater options, featuring removable third-row seats. Citroen recently introduced several updates to the model, including minor design tweaks, enhanced features, and a new engine.
