Ducati Unveils Limited Edition Scrambler – Only 500 Units

Ducati has unveiled the Scrambler Ducati 10° Anniversario Rizoma Edition, a limited-edition motorcycle celebrating a decade of the Scrambler line. With just 500 numbered units available worldwide, this collaboration between Ducati and Rizoma introduces a unique blend of artistry and engineering.

This commemorative model marks the tenth anniversary of the post-heritage Scrambler, a motorcycle known for its rebellious spirit and individualistic charm. For the first time, Rizoma, a long-time partner of Ducati, has directly contributed to the design of a production model, bringing their expertise in high-end motorcycle accessories to the table.

Design and Styling

The Scrambler Ducati 10° Anniversario Rizoma Edition stands out with a distinctive “Metal Rose” finish that accentuates its elegant yet bold design. The livery, developed in collaboration with Ducati’s design center and Rizoma, incorporates a tri-color scheme of Stone White, black, and Metal Rose. Black dominates the engine, chassis components, and features such as the bar-end mirrors and exhaust system, while Metal Rose highlights smaller elements like the footrests, covers, and windshield. The result is a refined, three-dimensional look that sets this Scrambler apart from others in Ducati’s lineup.

According to Andrea Ferraresi, Director of Strategy and Centro Stile Ducati, Rizoma’s attention to detail and aesthetic precision helped maintain the Scrambler’s original essence while elevating its design. Fabrizio Rigolio, Rizoma’s founder and creative director, described the bike as “dedicated to the 500 who dare, who see beyond, and who want to leave an indelible mark.”

Power and Performance

Underneath the sophisticated design, the Scrambler Ducati 10° Anniversario Rizoma Edition is equipped with a 803cc L-twin Desmodromic engine. The air-cooled unit delivers 73 hp at 8,250 rpm and 67 Nm of torque at 5,750 rpm, providing a balance between city commuting and spirited riding. The bike features a six-speed gearbox and is enhanced by Ducati’s signature ride dynamics, offering stability and agility on both urban streets and rougher terrains.

A key mechanical highlight is the use of a trellis frame, which is light yet strong, contributing to the bike’s nimble handling. The suspension setup consists of upside-down forks at the front and a rear mono-shock with adjustable preload, ensuring rider comfort and control across varying conditions.

Unique Features

This limited-edition Scrambler also includes several Rizoma-specific details. These include custom bar-end mirrors, a bespoke exhaust system, and sculpted footrests, all of which add to the bike’s exclusivity. Additionally, the bike comes with a special plaque denoting its limited-edition number, making each unit a true collector’s item.

The bike also features modern tech like dual-channel ABS, LED lighting, and a digital display, ensuring that while the design may nod to the past, the features are thoroughly up to date. The post Ducati Unveils Limited Edition Scrambler – Only 500 Units first appeared on Motoroids.
