The exterior of the Kona Electric features distinct split-type LED headlamps and LED tail lamps with daytime running lights (DRLs), along with alloy wheels, body-colored ORVMs that are heated and electrically adjustable/foldable, roof rails, and stylish door handles. The Kona Electric will launch with two battery capacity options. The 48.6 kWh variant offers 135 PS of power and 255 Nm of torque, while the larger 64.8 kWh battery delivers 204 PS of power and the same torque, achieving an impressive range of 490 km.
The new i-PEDAL driving mode allows for one-pedal operation, complemented by a Smart Regeneration System and Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) capability of up to 1.7 kW.

The suspension system includes a McPherson Strut front and Multi-Link rear setup, along with disc brakes on both sides. It supports 400V rapid charging, achieving an 80% charge in just 43 minutes.
