Honda Introduces Unlimited km Extended Warranty
Honda has launched an industry-first 7-year unlimited km extended warranty plan on the petrol version of Elevate, City, City e:HEV and Amaze. Interestingly, this program is also valid for Civic, Jazz and WR-V if the customer is enrolled for the Extended Warranty program earlier. Needless to say, it enhances the ownership experience for the customers a lot. The customers can choose this program within the first 2 years of purchasing a Honda car. Existing customers who have bought an extended warranty till 4th and 5th year can also extend it to up to 7 years of 1,50,000 km (whichever is earlier). Finally, this program is transferrable at the time of resale.

My View
As inflation goes through the roof, car owners are always looking for ways to save money. In fact, that is the reason why CNG cars are getting so popular in recent times. Once you have purchased a car, ownership costs can be surprising for some owners who underestimated them beforehand. For such buyers, a warranty program that covers everything for at least 7 years or unlimited km is ideal. I feel we will see many potential car buyers opt for Honda cars after this announcement.
