This event underscores the company’s unwavering focus on advancing EV technology, fostering wider EV adoption, and building a robust infrastructure for a seamless ownership experience.
Industry-First Solutions for a Sustainable EV Future
The event marked the launch of several pioneering programs designed to address key challenges in the EV landscape:
eHUB by MG: This industry-first charging platform by an OEM simplifies the EV charging experience by providing a one-stop solution for locating, reserving, and paying for charging stations. Partnering with leading providers like Adani Total Energies Limited (ATEL), BPCL, Chargezone, and many others, eHUB offers a comprehensive and user-friendly charging network.
Project REVIVE: Focused on battery life extension, Project REVIVE repurposes used EV batteries beyond cars. In collaboration with TERI and Lohum, the project extracts healthy battery components and builds energy storage systems for schools and community centers. This initiative promotes a circular economy and provides reliable power to underserved communities.
EVPEDIA: Designed to bridge the knowledge gap, EVPEDIA is India’s first dedicated EV education platform. This user-friendly resource offers comprehensive information on EV technology, benefits, ownership costs, and maintenance.
MG-Jio Innovative Connectivity Platform (MG-Jio ICP): A standard feature in all upcoming MG vehicles, MG-Jio ICP is a collaborative effort with Jio that redefines the in-car experience. This technology stack boasts several firsts, including an in-car app store for gaming, entertainment, and learning, superior voice commands in six Indian languages, and a groundbreaking Home-to-Car functionality.
