Khouri, Simmons be part of Just Planet Ed board
We are delighted to announce that two fine believed leaders have agreed to sign up for the board of Just Globe Instructional. They are (in alphabetical order):
** Rami G. Khouri, a thoughtful, achieved writer and analyst, and an op-ed columnist for Al-Jazeera on-line. Khouri is a Distinguished Public Plan Fellow with the Issam Fares Institute of AUB, the Director of the Anthony Shadid Archives Exploration Challenge, a member of the Steering Committee of the Palestine Lands Research Centre, and a non-resident Senior Fellow with the Arab Heart of Washington DC.
** Gwendolyn Zoharah Simmons, a veteran struggler for civil and political rights globally and Professor Emerita of African American Religions & Islamic Scientific tests, College of Florida. She is a Founding Member of the National Council of Elders, and a board member of the SNCC Legacy Job and the CIVIC MEDIA Centre. Together with her former husband or wife Michael Simmons, Dr. Simmons is the topic of the 2023 ebook Stayed on Independence: The Extended Historical past of Black Energy By A person Family’s Journey by Dan Berger (Primary Books, 2023.)
