Last Date for MEF 2024-25 Submission Extended

Professional Development Committee (PDC) of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has extended the deadline for submitting the Multipurpose Empanelment Form (MEF) for 2024-25 from October 7, 2024, to October 21, 2024. This decision was made in light of the recent extension of the tax audit filing period, providing members sufficient time to complete the MEF submission. The PDC clarified that no further extensions will be granted, as the Branch Auditors’ Panel must be submitted to the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) within a specified timeframe. Applicants are advised to review the advisory before filling out the MEF. For any queries, complaints, or clarification regarding MEF 2024-25, applicants can contact the PDC through the “MEF Complaint Entry” section on the official website or by email.

ANNOUNCEMENT FOR EXTENSION OF LAST DATE FOR SUBMITTING MEF 2024-25FROM 07th OCTOBER TO 21st OCTOBER, 2024
Considering the extension of tax audit filing period and to give adequate time to members to submit MEF thereafter, it has been decided to extend the last date for submitting the MEF from 07th October 2024 to 21st October 2024. Accordingly, Last date for online submission of MEF is 21st October, 2024.
It may kindly be noted that no further extension will be given for filing MEF 2024-25, as PDC has to submit the Branch Auditors’ Panel to RBI within stipulated time.
Before filling the Multipurpose Empanelment Form (MEF) for the year 2024-25, applicants are advised to go through the Advisory.
