Madalsa Sharma addresses rift rumours with Rupali Ganguly; reveals if they are friends

Popular television actress Madalsa Sharma who played the role of Kavya in Anupamaa show has bid adieu to Rupali Ganguly and Gaurav Khanna starrer. She recently opened up about her exit from the show. She even spoke her heart out about if there was a rumoured rift with actor Rupali Ganguly that had anything to do with her exit from the show. In a new chat with Times Now, Madala Sharma said that she was not happy with her ongoing storyline on the show. She even said that the six-month leap helped her to decide to leave the show. Madalsa said it was a mutual decision between her and producer Rajan Shahi. She also said that her character Kavya in Anupamaa was losing its edge and she started feeling that her role had not been given the importance and space that she formally had in the show. Madalsa spoke about the rumoured rift with Rupali Ganguly and said that they are good friends. She said that ‘when they work in a place for so long—4 years, kabhi na kabhi, kahin na kahin, kisi na kisi ke sath kuch toh upar neeche hota hi hai’. She said that it is not something that one can take to heart because they are meeting many types of people every day of their lives. She even added saying that, ‘There is nothing that I would rather want to put out there that I had something bad going on with Rupali Ganguly or any other actor. Certain days are good and certain days are not good, which is how life functions. In an interview with entertainment news portal, Madalsa said that it has been all good fun and games. She also said that they are all very friendly and cordial. Madalsa said that they do not need to make reels and post pictures with people to show how they bond with someone. She even wondered if she considered Rupali a friend or just a colleague. Madalsa said that Rupali is both friend/colleague and she can indeed call her a friend. She even said that they have seen her for four years, worked with her and she can call her a friend.
