Mahindra Thar Roxx 4X4 Now Available In 2 Interior Options

Mahindra & Mahindra has introduced a new Mocha Brown interior theme for the Roxx 4X4 off-road SUV at no additional cost. Previously, it was available only in the Ivory (White) interior color. Online bookings for the Mahindra Thar Roxx will open at 11 a.m. on 3rd October 2024. Interested buyers can pre-book the SUV by paying a sum of Rs 21,000. The carmaker has confirmed that deliveries of the Ivory theme will begin in October, while the Mocha interior version will be handed over to customers in January 2025.

The Thar Roxx 4X4 is available in four variants – MX5 Diesel MT, AX5L Diesel AT, AX7L Diesel MT, and AX7L Diesel AT, priced at Rs 18.79 lakh, Rs 20.99 lakh, Rs 20.99 lakh, and Rs 22.49 lakh, respectively. Compared to their 4X2 counterparts, the Roxx 4X4 variants are approximately Rs 1.8 lakh to Rs 2 lakh more expensive.

The SUV’s 4X4 version is powered by a 2.2L diesel engine that delivers a maximum power of 175bhp and 370Nm of torque. Transmission choices include a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed torque converter automatic. The model lineup also offers a 2.0L turbo petrol engine, which produces 162bhp and 330Nm.

The Mahindra Thar Roxx 4X4 comes equipped with Mahindra’s ‘4XPLOR’ system, which includes features such as an electronic locking differential and three terrain modes – Mud, Sand, and Snow. Additional features such as ‘Intelliturn’ and Smart Crawl further enhance its off-road capabilities.

The 4X4 version offers the same set of features available in the 4X2 variants. The MX5 trim comes with leatherette seats and steering cover, a single-pane sunroof, ambient lighting, auto headlights and wipers, a tire pressure monitoring system, front parking sensors, LED fog lamps, 18-inch alloys, and LED DRLs, along with all amenities offered in the MX3 trim.

With the AX5L trim, you get an ADAS suite, wireless Apple CarPlay, connected car technology, automatic climate control, a 10.25-inch digital driver display, and an electronic parking brake. The AX7L offers some exclusive features such as 19-inch alloys, power-folding ORVMs, ventilated front seats, a panoramic sunroof, blind-spot monitoring, a 360-degree camera, a powered 6-way adjustable driver’s seat, a cooled glovebox, and a 9-speaker Harmon Kardon audio system.
