Maruti Suzuki Makes ESP Standard Across Entire Passenger Vehicle Lineup

Maruti Suzuki India Limited has announced a significant safety upgrade by making Electronic Stability Program+ (ESP) a standard feature across its entire passenger vehicle portfolio. This includes the recently added Alto K10 and S-Presso models, ensuring that all Maruti Suzuki cars now come equipped with this crucial safety technology. Notably, the company has implemented this change without increasing the prices of these models.

ESP is a vehicle stability control system that helps prevent skidding and loss of control by automatically applying brakes to individual wheels. This technology works in conjunction with an Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), Traction Control System (TCS), and Stability Control (SC) to enhance vehicle stability and safety.

In addition to ESP, Maruti Suzuki vehicles come equipped with other safety features such as dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, reverse parking sensors, engine immobilizer, HEARTECT platform, and collapsible steering column.

This move by Maruti Suzuki is expected to further enhance the safety standards in the Indian automotive industry and provide customers with increased peace of mind.
