‘Missing voters’: Overlooked, not long gone
Should EC’s strategy of remote voting for migrants do well, it will rewrite political equations. It will also force functions to greater value the significance of skilling workers
Elections are coming but what about the 30 crore registered voters who cannot physical exercise their franchise because they have been in the improper put for a long time? These ‘missing voters’ are, in the most important, migrants whose addresses in electoral rolls do not match their existing place of residence and are, as a result, not able to vote.
