New Honda Amaze Spotted Ahead of Global Debut, Reveals Smoked Taillamps, Reverse Camera and More

The third-generation Honda Amaze compact sedan is anticipated to make its global debut before the end of 2024. But, with the first exterior shots of the sedan, we can spot smoked taillamps, a reverse camera, and a shark-fin antenna at the rear. Aside from these, the test mule shows three headrests for the rear-seat occupants, while the overall silhouette appears the same as the current version. A larger, free-standing touchscreen compared to a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system in the existing iteration of the Amaze is expected to find a home in the new Amaze. Other expected bits are a fully digital console as well as six airbags as standard.  The platform that sees duty on the Elevate SUV and the City sedan will underpin the upcoming Amaze, although with some modifications. In comparison to the City sedan (2,600mm) and the Elevate SUV (2,650mm), the third-gen Amaze will be offered with a shorter wheelbase. The Amaze currently has a wheelbase of 2,470mm.  Also Read: New Honda Amaze to Mark Global Debut By End of 2024; Here’s What You Can Expect New Honda Amaze: Engine  The powertrain is likely to stay the same as before. Expected exterior enhancements include modified front and rear bumpers, refreshed headlamps, and new alloy wheels. The sedan could get a Fronx-inspired cabin, with a single-pane sunroof (first in the category) and a 360-degree camera. Safety-wise, you can expect six airbags, a 360-degree surround view camera, traction control, ABS with EBD, and a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS).
