The new Hyundai Alcazar facelift is doing its final test rounds ahead of its market launch in September 2024. The latest spy images show the prototype was semi-camouflaged and painted in a new Maroon paint scheme, which is likely to join the existing colour palettes. The three-row SUV seems to carry slightly revised front grille and bumper. The headlamp clusters, DRLs, alloy wheels, rear bumper and taillamps will also look different from the current model.

Interior of the Alcazar facelift will share resemblance with the Creta SUV. The three-row SUV will have a dual screen setup with two 10.25-inch displays – one working as an infotainment system and another one for instrumental functionality. The list of features will also include ventilated seats, a panoramic sunroof, dual zone climate control, newly-designed dashboard and new trims/upholstery.

Similar to the Creta, the 2024 Hyundai Alcazar facelift will offer Level 2 ADAS (advanced driver assistance system) suite offering 19 safety features including lane following assist, lane keep assist, leading vehicle departure alert, blind spot collision warning and avoidance assist, forward collision warning and avoidance assist, surround view monitor, rear cross traffic collision avoidance assist and blind spot view monitor. Things under the hood remain intact. That means, the new Hyundai Alcazar will use the same 115bhp, 1.5L diesel and 160bhp, 1.5L turbo petrol engines. While the former will continue to come with a 6-speed manual and a 7-speed DCT automatic gearbox, the latter will be available with a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic transmission. The SUV will have three drive modes – Comfort, Eco and Sport – and three traction modes – Snow, Sand and Mud.

Prices of the facelifted model are expected to be slightly higher than the existing model, which is available within the price range of Rs 16.77 lakh and Rs 21.28 lakh (all, ex-showroom).
