The all-new Kia Carnival will be the second major product launch from the South Korean automaker this year. The model is reported to go on sale in October, and its deliveries might start just before the Diwali season. Being a CBU (completely built-up) unit, the luxury MPV could be priced over Rs 50 lakh (ex-showroom) and won’t have any direct rival in the country. We saw the new Carnival as the KA4 concept at the 2023 Auto Expo, followed by its global debut in November 2023. Read: Updated Kia Carens Launching Soon With 7 Major Changes

Major design changes will be made to the new 2024 Kia Carnival. The MPV will have a completely revised front fascia featuring a newly-designed grille, a tweaked bumper, and new headlamps with LED DRLs. Compared to its predecessor, the new model will appear longer with an overall length of 5,156mm. A few cosmetic changes will also be made at the rear end, including slightly revised taillamps, a rear bumper with narrower lights with metallic trim, and a repositioned logo and license plate.

Inside, the new Carnival will have a dual-screen setup with 12.3-inch units functioning as the infotainment system and instrument cluster, a rotary drive selector, and revised AC and audio controls placed just below the central screen. Features such as a Head-Up Display, front and rear dash cams, an updated digital key, a digital rearview mirror, ambient lighting, and an optional 14.6-inch rear entertainment screen will also be on offer. Globally, the Carnival is available in three seating configurations – 7, 9, and 11. As of now, there is no information on the seating arrangement of the India-spec version.

Under the hood, the all-new 2024 Kia Carnival will employ the same 2.2L, four-cylinder turbo diesel engine. In global markets, it is available with three powertrains: a 2.2L diesel, a 1.6L petrol with an electric motor, and a 3.5L petrol.
