Actors Rajkummar Rao and Patralekhaa shared a long and fascinating love story for over a decade before getting married a few years ago. However, their relationship had an unusual start. In a recent interview with Humans of Bombay, Patralekhaa opened up about her first impression of the Stree 2 actor and how she initially found him “creepy.”Patralekhaa recalls finding Rajkummar Rao “creepy” after watching him in Love Sex Aur Dhokha, reveals she was “scared” of him: “I was feeling weird because he was…”Patralekhaa Recalls Meeting Rajkummar Rao After LSDPatralekhaa first noticed Rajkummar Rao in his debut film Love Sex Aur Dhokha (LSD). Shortly after, she was asked to do a music video with him by a friend. She recalled, “I had just seen LSD. His first film. About three days later, one of my school friends called me, she said, ‘Could you do this video for me… I am calling this other actor called Rajkummar. He was just in LSD.’ I said, ‘Ruksana, no, I am not coming because I think he is very creepy and I was scared.’”Despite her reservations, Patralekhaa eventually agreed to the shoot, bringing her sister along for moral support. “I made my sister sit between me and Raj, and they started chit-chatting. I was feeling weird because he was that creepy guy from that movie,” she shared humorously.An Unexpected ShiftAs the car ride from Mumbai to Pune went on, Patralekhaa slowly began to change her mind about Rajkummar. She recalled, “Eventually, it was a bit awkward because the ride was long. He asked me, ‘Hey, what do you do?’ I mentioned some ads I had done. And the moment I said that, I saw there was some shift. As the story goes, he had seen that particular ad and he was like, ‘I wanna marry this girl.’”Once they reached the set and began shooting for the video, Patralekhaa saw a different side of Rajkummar Rao. “He was just a different human being. Someone who loved his art so much and was so passionate about his work. It was such a rarity, and I just couldn’t stop falling in love with him,” she said. She further admired his dedication to acting, saying, “Most of us, back then, when we were doing audition rounds, everybody was doing this either to become richer or famous… But he was just doing this for the love of his art.”Despite her initial hesitation, Patralekhaa quickly fell for Rajkummar Rao, appreciating his passion and integrity.
