The Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 is now available with wire-spoke wheels and tubeless tyres, starting at Rs 2,96,000 (ex-showroom, Delhi). Until now, the adventure motorcycle was only available with wire-spoke wheels, which were not compatible with tubeless tyres. The tubeless wire-spoke wheels were previously offered only under the homologation process. Now, buyers can opt directly for the 21-inch front and 19-inch rear tubeless spoke wheels, available on Royal Enfield’s official website and at all authorized RE dealerships.
With the tubeless spoke wheels, the RE Himalayan 450 Kaza Brown and Slate Himalayan Salt & Slate Poppy Blue variants are priced at Rs 2,96,000 and Rs 3,00,001, respectively. The Kamet White tubeless spoke wheel variant is priced at Rs 3,04,000, while the top-end Hanle Black variant with tubeless spoke wheels is available at Rs 3,07,000. The company has also announced an offer for its existing Himalayan 450 customers, allowing them to upgrade to tubeless spoke wheels at an additional cost of Rs 12,424. This offer will be applicable from 3rd October onwards. Additionally, the new Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 now comes with a flat single-piece rally seat, enhancing comfort for off-roading. Unlike the tubeless spoke wheels, the rally seat is available only at RE showrooms.
The RE Himalayan 450 also offers a wide array of accessories, including a tall visor, headlight grille, bash plate, black adventure passenger seat, silver and black adventure panniers, top box and top box mount, black adventure rider seat, black touring mirrors, and many more.
Powering the RE Himalayan 450 is a 452cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that delivers 40PS and 40Nm of torque. It is paired with a 6-speed gearbox with a slip-and-assist clutch.
