Khamma Khani!!
Welcome to the land of havelis, the land of Rajahs, the land of Ghoomar & the land of vibrant Pagadis , Angharkas & Oodhnis. With ” Athithi Devo Bhavo” currently being a part of their culture, Rajasthan generally welcomes you with a open heart.
The Hebbal Cafe, dedicates their present foods competition just to the emotion called “Rajasthan”. Their food festival “Royal Flavours of Rajasthan”, provides to you the diverse dishes of the point out with their Khansama ” Chef Lakshmi”, who has been flown right in from Rajasthan together with his treasure trove of spices.

The Grub Story :
Chef Lakshmi along with chef Lakhbir & chef Enayat, have established an extravaganza of the finest & most liked dishes that characterize Rajasthan in its total glory. In this article is how the Thali and the accompaniments seemed :
1. Bajre ki Raab : An extremely sleek & gritty consume that quickly reminded you of a wet day. This beige coloured millet consume is entirely Rajasthan.

2. Shuruat ( Starters ) : Owning opted for the vegetarian class, i was offered the most delicious starter, a duo of Khasta Kachori & Peethiwali Tikki. Rajasthan, is synonymous with kachoris and no a single can make it far better than them but what stunned me was the “Peethiwali Tikki”
The tikki was your potato tikki but with the cleanest flavours and soften in your mouth texture.

3. My Thali : This was the massive daddy of all Rajasthani Thalis and by this i mean the flavour combination and the carefully curated curries on the platter, which progressed so simply into 1 & yet another. With legendary gravies like “Pithod ki Subzi, Shekhawati Ker Sanger, Jodhpuri Bharwa Gatta”, there was no way you could stop devouring this.

4. Dal Baati Churma : No Rajasthani festival is entire without the need of the ” Dal Baati Churma”. Boy! Was this a pleasure to devour, with the Baati dunked in ghee and served with Dal & Saffron infused Churma. This built my day!

5. Shekhawati Dahi Wada : This is Chef Lakshmi’s model, exactly where he mimics the recipe his mom made use of to make. The edition, is not only brain blowing but is a little something that reinstates the reality that a lot less is always a lot more.

6. Kuch Mitha Hojaye? Dessert time
Malai Ghewar and Malpua with Rabri : The two these desserts are the fantastic to showcase the sweetness and textural enjoy that Indian desserts have. Chef Enayat, did a excellent work in creating us realise just how delectable our desserts are.

Verdict : Hebbal Cafe, has unquestionably put in a ton energy to keep accurate to the roots and that is very easily noticed in the execution of the “Royal Flavours of Rajasthan” competition. I’m delighted with the way this has turned out to be. This is on till the 5th Could.
