Bollywood superstar Salman Khan is on the radar of the gangster Lawrence Bishnoi. The latter has issued death threats to the actor on multiple occasions. In fact, he is currently accused of being involved with the murder of NCP MLA Baba Siddique. You would find news channels running these reports for the past few days. Following these horrifying developments, Salman Khan has decided to tighten his personal security. Note that he had already imported one bulletproof Nissan Patrol from Dubai a few months ago. The latest reports suggest he has brought in yet another bulletproof SUV.

Salman Khan Imports New Bulletproof Nissan Patrol

The recent news reports are full of information about Salman importing a second Nissan Patrol from Dubai. It is a bulletproof SUV which is relatively common among many global celebrities and prominent personalities from various backgrounds. In the bulletproof version, the Nissan Patrol comes with a VR9 or VR10 rating as per the international standard of protection level. VR refers to Vehicle Resistance. This includes protection from bullet shots and small explosions. VR10 is regarded as the top protection level which is also seen in the Mercedes Maybach S600 Guard, a vehicle many nations’ Presidents and Prime Ministers use.

In terms of the powertrain, the Nissan Patrol carries a colossal 3.5-litre V6 twin-turbo engine which generates a healthy 425 hp and 700 Nm of peak power and torque. This engine is mated to a 9-speed automatic transmission. To take care of the comfort of the occupants, it gets adaptive air suspension. There is also a less powerful 3.8-litre V6 mill which churns out a decent 316 hp and 386 Nm of peak power and torque. It is 5.35 m in length and has a wheelbase of almost 3.1 m. Some reports suggest that it has a price tag of Rs 2 Crore.
