Shivangi Joshi Claims She Was Replaced By A Starkid In A Web Series, Fans Name “Heeramandi”

Shivangi Joshi is certainly one of the most popular and most loved actresses of the Indian television industry, she has worked in quite a few serials but she is best known for her work in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai in which she played the daughter of Hina Khan’s character.

Shivangi recently gave an interview to an entertainment portal in which she opened up on many issues and she also made a shocking claim.
Shivangi stated that she gave audition for a web series and got selected for a role as well but at the last moment, she was told that she has been replaced by a star kid. Shivangi Joshi said that she was offered the friend’s role but she was not interested in it.
She said, “I was considered for another platform and my auditions happened. They really liked my performance and everything was set. Suddenly last minute I got to know that someone else is doing the project.”

Shivangi Joshi further said, “I asked ‘When did this happen?’ so I was told that she is someone’s daughter and now she is being considered for the role. I don’t want to take names. I was told that you can do the friend part if you want.”
Many online users felt that Shivangi Joshi is talking about “Heeramandi” and the role which she is talking about is the character of Alamzeb which was played by Sharmin Segal who is related to director Sanjay Leela Bhansali as she is his niece. Fans of Shivangi Joshi feel that it is the loss of the web series that Shivangi was not given the role because she would have done a far better job than Sharmin Segal.
Shivangi also talked about her co-actor Hina Khan who is currently getting treated for stage 3 breast cancer and despite facing such a big disease, she is keeping a brave face and fighting the battle with a smile on her face.

Shivangi called Hina Khan a fighter and said that she is going to meet her soon. Here’s what Shivangi said in the interview, “I’m still in touch with her. We spoke yesterday. She is okay. She is very strong. She is a fighter and she will be fine soon. We are all praying for her. I will meet her soon. She will get well super soon.”
