The Tata Curvv coupe SUV, set to debut on 7th August, is now open for bookings at select Tata dealerships. The official teasers are creating buzz among buyers, while revealing some intriguing details. It will be the first mass-market coupe SUV from Tata that will go up against the forthcoming Citroen Basalt along with mid-size SUVs like the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Maruti Grand Vitara, and Honda Elevate. The carmaker has confirmed that the Curvv will be offered with both electric and ICE (internal combustion engine) powertrain options.

Official specifications and feature details are still under wraps. However, the Curvv EV is likely to come with two battery options, delivering a range of up to 500km. The coupe SUV’s ICE version will use Tata’s all-new 1.2L T-GDi turbo petrol and Nexon’s 1.5L diesel engines, making 125PS with 225Nm and 115PS with 260Nm, respectively. The petrol motor could be offered with manual and DCT automatic gearbox options, while the diesel unit might get a manual transmission only.

The teasers confirm that the Tata Curvv will come with a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster and a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system. Features such as a JBL surround sound system, touch controls for AC, ventilated seats, a rotary dial for drive modes, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity, ambient lighting, and a panoramic sunroof will also be on offer.

The major highlight of its safety kit will be the Level 2 ADAS suite, offering features such as adaptive cruise control, an autonomous braking system, lane keep assist, and more. The coupe SUV will also come with six airbags, electronic stability control, a 360-degree camera with blind spot monitoring, and front and rear parking sensors.

Tata Motors has also lined up the Harrier EV and Safari EV for 2025, while the Sierra EV launch has been confirmed for FY26.
