Tata Motors recently rolled out its fifth electric offering – the Curvv EV. The electric SUV coupe model lineup is being offered in Creative, Accomplished, Accomplished+ S, Empowered+, and Empowered+ A trims, priced from Rs 17.49 lakh to Rs 21.99 lakh (all ex-showroom). Today, the carmaker has started accepting bookings for the all-new Tata Curvv EV with a token sum of Rs 21,000. However, deliveries will begin on 23rd August 2024.
Buyers have two battery pack options with the Curvv EV – a 45kWh battery paired with a 167bhp electric motor (available only with the Creative, Accomplished, and Accomplished+ S variants) and a 55kWh battery paired with a 155bhp electric motor (available only with the Accomplished, Accomplished+ S, Empowered+, and Empowered+ A variants).

The company claims that its 45kWh and 55kWh battery versions offer an MIDC range of 502km and 585km, respectively. While the former accelerates from 0 to 100kmph in 9 seconds, the latter can do the same in 8.6 seconds. The battery pack of the Curvv EV can be charged for up to a 150km run in just 15 minutes, and from 10 to 80 percent in 40 minutes via a 70kW charger. Its iRA app has an integrated charge point. The SUV coupe also supports both vehicle-to-load (V2L) and vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) charging.
The Tata Curvv EV Empowered+ A trim offers three exclusive features, including a powered tailgate with gesture control, an SOS calling function, and Level 2 ADAS. The Empowered+ variant offers features such as a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a six-way power-adjustable driver seat, a 9-speaker JBL sound system, an air purifier with AQI display, ventilated front seats, a frunk, a two-step recline function for second-row seats, an auto-dimming IRVM, an acoustic vehicle alert system, ambient lighting, and smart digital lights with a charging indicator and welcome and goodbye functions.
