The Tata Curvv EV is all set to go on sale in India tomorrow. It will be the first mass-market coupe SUV from Tata, positioned above the Nexon EV and below the upcoming Harrier EV in the company’s product lineup. The carmaker will also introduce its ICE (internal combustion engine) version a few months after the arrival of the electric iteration. Official details of the Curvv EV will be revealed tomorrow. Here are all the details we know so far.

The electric coupe SUV from Tata is likely to be offered with two battery packs – one borrowed from the Nexon (40.5kWh) and a 55kWh pack. The smaller capacity battery pack will be offered with the lower variants and will provide a range of around 465km. The bigger battery version is expected to promise an electric range of around 550km on a single charge. Similar to the Punch.ev, the Tata Curvv EV will be built on the brand’s Acti.ev platform. It might support both V2L (vehicle-to-load) and V2V (vehicle-to-vehicle) functionalities.

The interior of the Curvv EV will resemble that of the Harrier and Safari SUVs. Its dual-tone dashboard, four-spoke steering wheel, and touch-enabled climate control panel will be sourced from its sibling SUVs. The electric coupe SUV will feature a 12.3-inch free-floating infotainment system, a 10.25-inch digital driver’s display, a panoramic sunroof, and ventilated front seats. Features such as an automatic gear shifter and drive mode selector will be borrowed from the Nexon.

For safety provisions, the new Tata coupe SUV is likely to offer electronic stability control, six airbags, ABS with EBD, and a 360-degree camera. There will also be the Level 2 ADAS suite offering features such as forward collision warning, adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist, and more.

The Tata Curvv EV prices will be officially revealed tomorrow. However, it is expected to be offered at a starting price of Rs 20 lakh (ex-showroom). Select Tata dealers have already started accepting bookings for the electric coupe SUV. Once launched, it will compete against the Citroen Basalt, the upcoming Hyundai Creta EV, and the Maruti Suzuki eVX.
