Hyundai Alcazar Facelift Unveiled; Bookings Now Open Across India

Hyundai India has officially unveiled the facelifted Alcazar and announced the commencement of bookings across its dealerships and online portal. Customers can reserve the refreshed three-row SUV with a booking amount of Rs 25,000. The updated Hyundai Alcazar is available in four trim levels—Executive, Prestige, Platinum, and Signature—and offers both six- and seven-seat configurations. Buyers can choose between petrol and diesel engine options, each paired with either a manual or automatic transmission.

The facelifted Alcazar stands out with its redesigned exterior, featuring a bold grille with H-shaped LED daytime running lights (DRLs) and quad-beam LED headlights. The rear of the SUV has also been reimagined, sporting a new tailgate design with H-shaped LED taillights, an LED light bar, and a refreshed bumper. The SUV rides on newly designed 18-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels. Hyundai has introduced nine color options for the Alcazar, including a striking new Robust Emerald Matte finish.

Inside, the Alcazar is expected to adopt a dashboard layout similar to its five-seater sibling, the Creta. Key interior highlights may include dual 10.25-inch displays for the infotainment system and digital instrument cluster, dual-zone automatic climate control, a panoramic sunroof, ventilated front seats, and advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS).

Under the hood, the facelifted Alcazar will offer a choice between a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine, paired with a 6-speed manual or 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, and a 1.5-litre diesel engine, available with either a 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic transmission.

Hyundai plans to reveal the pricing for the Alcazar facelift on September 9. It is anticipated that the new model will carry a slight premium over the current prices, which range from Rs 17 lakh to Rs 21 lakh for the petrol variants and from Rs 18 lakh to Rs 22 lakh for the diesel versions. Upon its launch, the Alcazar facelift will compete with other three-row SUVs in the Indian market, including the Tata Safari and MG Hector Plus.
