The deliveries of Matter Aera EV have once again been delayed in India owing to some updates. The EV comes in two variants: 5000 and 5000+, priced at Rs 1.74 lakh and Rs 1.84 lakh, respectively (both ex-showroom).

Electric two-wheeler startup Matter has postponed deliveries of its first motorcycle, the Aera, in India. The shipment will now begin around the festive period, instead of the first quarter of 2024 as initially planned. It will start from Ahmedabad and progress in stages. Matter asserts that multiple upgrades made to the motorcycle have contributed to the delay in delivery. These include a revised 4-speed transmission for easier shifts and more efficient regenerative braking and an upgraded cooling system for increased thermal efficiency.
