Wash and soak rice for 30 minutes. Chop onion into skinny slices and keep apart. Heat oil in a pan. Incorporate cumin seeds, bay leaves,cinnamon, cloves, environmentally friendly cardamom and black cardamom. Saute for couple of seconds. Incorporate onion slices.  Saute on reduced warmth till the onions convert brown in color. Include soaked rice and h2o. Incorporate purple chilli powder,salt and black pepper powder. Prepare dinner on substantial heat for 10 minutes. Sprinkle garam masala and give a light mix. Cover the pan and cook on reduced heat for 10 minutes. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve warm with Sai Bhaji.
