Watch Tata CURVV Shock Pakistani Public

Tata Motors recently launched the Curvv coupe SUV in the electric variant, while the ICE guise will appear on September 2.

The reaction of the Pakistani public about Tata Curvv is hilarious. Curvv is a coupe SUV which is available in electric, petrol and diesel variants. In fact, it will be the second coupe SUV in the mass market in India after the recently launched Citroen Basalt. Tata Motors didn’t have any product between the Nexon and Harrier in the mid-size SUV segment until now. With Curvv, it wants to cater to that void to grab an even larger chunk of market share for itself. Let us take a look at the details of what the Pakistani public has to say about the Tata Curvv.

Tata CURVV Shocks Pakistani Public

This video appears from Shaniswag on YouTube. The host in the video interacts with the general public on the streets. He shows them the trailer of the Tata Curvv. The visuals give a walkaround tour of the coupe SUV. After showing them glimpses of the car, he asks the people to guess the country which made this car along with the price. I must admit, the reactions are simply hilarious. People guess that this vehicle could only be made by countries like Japan, South Korea or China. When the host told them that this was an Indian car, they were shocked. On top of that, when he mentions the price, they just can’t believe it. Most of them compare it to how much they have to pay for basic cars in Pakistan. Needless to say, they are mighty impressed by what India has been able to achieve in this space.

Tata Curvv has been all the rage at the moment in India. The Indian auto giant wants to democratize the coupe SUV body type since it has been reserved for high-end luxury cars until now. Customers looking for a relatively affordable coupe with a distinct road presence would definitely consider it. Apart from that, the list of modern amenities is rather extensive. Not just the convenience features, Tata Motors claims that the Curvv will be able to secure a full 5 stars at the Bharat NCAP. Finally, the main appeal will be the availability of electric, petrol and diesel engines with manual and automatic transmissions. Hence, all sorts of needs are taken into consideration.

Our View

Tata Motors has been making some impressive vehicles in the last few years. That is why it is constantly knocking on the doors of Hyundai to claim the title of the second-largest carmaker in the country. People have taken a liking to feature-rich and safety-focused vehicles from Tata Motors. Going forward, it wants to ensure that it makes world-class products. That is why I am not surprised to see the reaction of the Pakistani public. In fact, most foreigners would react in the same manner.
